Get to know our family

Doodle Time TX is a small, home-based breeder specializing in quality, not quantity! Owners Teresa and husband, Willy, share a lifelong love of dogs, starting with their Labrador named Dixie. “We love showering our dogs and their puppies with lots of attention.”

Teresa truly loves her role as grandmother to your puppy. She responds to inquiries promptly and welcomes all your questions throughout the process and, honestly, forever! Teresa enjoys sharing updates and photographs with puppy families and loves receiving updates once they find their forever home.

Teresa & Willy, grandparents of 11, were fortunate to watch each grandchild play, love and grow old with Dixie, who grew more lovable and patient. Each child adored Dixie and when the time came for them to say their goodbyes, they quickly realized what a huge impact this smart, beautiful and gentle dog had made on each of them.

After a few months, Teresa came across a beautiful English Cream Golden Retriever, who stole her heart immediately; Pearl soon also stole Wilbert’s! Pearl, too, was also very smart, gentle and, of course, extremely beautiful.

Teresa and Willy agreed they wanted other families to experience such loving family pets as their family had, so they decided they would breed Pearl. However, they knew they wanted it done right! They did extensive research and networking with experts regarding the overall health of dogs from mother to father to pup.

Teresa had been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease shortly after getting Pearl. This presented a lot of different challenges that didn’t always make sense and that are very frustrating. One of the new symptoms she started to experience was … DOG ALLERGIES! As someone who had owned a dog her entire life, this was a huge shock and greater disappointment. She started noticing symptoms of being mildly itchy and uncomfortable. She had heard about poodles being “hypo-allergenic” and began research on Goldendoodles.

“We know Grandma and Grandpa keep a very close eye on the pups from the time they are born to the time they go to your furr-ever home. This guarantees they are packed with a lifetime of love for you and yours whether as another family member or a service companion.”

-Jonáe

“Because our grandparents are a small, in-home breeder, these pups get a whole lotta love and affection from the family and friends who come by daily, all seeking some puppy (and family) love.”

“Grandma Teresa and Grandpa Willy want to make sure your pooch is paw-fect in every way!  It requires a lot of extra work to make sure you’re taking home a quality puppy, but with some minor help from their children and huge help from the grandchildren, Grandma and Grandpa have a few extra hands.”

"I'm the real animal lover in this family, and though Grandma calls me the 'Bunny Whisperer,' I do love me some puppies. Being a teen takes a lot of time, but a visit with these oh-so-cute pups is No. 1 on the must-do list. (Shhh: Please don't tell Grandma and Grandpa that it's not too awful seeing them, too.)”
